Alix Earle addressed her next career steps after putting her podcast career on hold.
“[I have] lots of plans, lots of dreams,” Earle, 24, told E! News while attending the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 3.
The social media personality wouldn’t confirm or deny exactly what she has in the works, adding, “I don’t want to jinx anything.”
When questioned about a possible pivot away from the podcasting world to another medium entirely, Earle teased that she may give acting a try.

“I think acting is fun,” she said. “I would love to explore that.”
It was reported in February that Earle’s ”Hot Mess” podcast had been dropped by Alex Cooper’s Unwell network, sparking speculation of a feud between the two women. Earle later responded to those rumors in a TikTok video, where she insisted she had “no idea what’s going on.”
On March 26, Earle announced she was taking a break from podcasting completely “for the foreseeable future” following the cancellation of “Hot Mess.”

“[I] don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so, so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast,” she clarified.
Earle then vowed, “Good news is I’m gonna be putting out weekly vlogs for the foreseeable future. They’re going to be on YouTube. We’re going to have a really good time. I’m a believer that everything happens for a reason.”
The influencer’s announcement led to more theories that Unwell could be preventing Earle from podcasting as part of their separation agreement, yet Cooper quickly confirmed that was not the case.

“Hi! I see ur comments. Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell,” Cooper, 30, insisted via her Instagram Story in March. “IDK why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back. She owns her IP.”
After initially gaining a huge following with her “Get Ready With Me” videos on TikTok, Earle launched “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” with Unwell in September 2023. The podcast’s debut proved to be so popular that it briefly bumped “The Joe Rogan Experience” from the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s podcast chart.
Earle has been vlogging ever since her podcast was axed, including taking her fans along for a getaway to Turks & Caicos, jetting off to Miami and having an eventful time at Coachella.

When Earle revealed an altercation with another Coachella attendee during Lady Gaga’s headlining set, some viewers theorized she may have clashed with Bachelor Nation’s Kelsey Anderson, who’d mentioned her own standoff with another woman while trying to watch Gaga.
Anderson never named the person she’d had “a littler altercation” with and subsequently answered a fan on social media who asked directly if Earle was the culprit.
“No I didn’t know who the person was I just am assuming they were an influencer ha,” the Bachelor Nation star replied.
