Scarlett Johansson couldn’t help but gush over motherhood while attending the London premiere of her latest film, Jurassic Park Rebirth.
At the event on Tuesday, June 17, Johansson was asked what her favorite Chappell Roan song was — and her answer was precious.
“I mean, my son’s favorite Chappell song is H-O-T T-O G-O, ‘HOT TO GO!,’” the actress told MTV UK on the red carpet, referencing son Cosmo, 3. “I don’t know if it’s my favorite, but because he sings it, it has become my favorite.”
Johansson shares Cosmo with husband Colin Jost, whom she married in 2020. She also shares daughter Rose, 10, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

The Jurassic World Rebirth actress is rather private when it comes to talking about raising her two children out of the spotlight.
“My family is very precious to me, as is their privacy,” Johansson said in a March 26 interview with InStyle. “The anonymity of my children is very precious to me. I was talking to my daughter the other day, because she said, ‘Oh, I would love to make videos for The Outset.’”
“She was like, ‘Why can’t I?’ And I said, ‘Well, other than the fact that you’re 10…’” she continued.
Johansson previously revealed that she was against her daughter joining social media and getting a phone.
“I have a little guy who’s 3, so he’s not on a phone. He’s into Legos,” she said while visiting Today in November 2024. “My daughter’s 10, and so there’s a lot of that pressure coming around now, especially if she’s hanging out with older girls.”
Johansson said that it was “hard” for her to come to terms with the idea of allowing her daughter to have a phone.
“I don’t know, I think social media is hard for young people,” she said. “It’s hard for me to process. I feel like technology is moving so much faster than our human egos can process.”
Johansson continued, “I’d rather her wait until she’s an adult to be able to participate.”
In addition to her son’s taste in pop music, the mom of two revealed that Rose was a fan of the Wicked movie.
“My daughter saw it without me, and I’m really upset about it!” Johansson said on Today of the popular musical film.
“I’m going to make her go again, for sure. I’m sure she’d be happy to,” she quipped.

Johansson said that while she and her daughter shared similar interest in the Wicked film, Rose was not interested in watching her mom’s widely successful Avengers films.
“She likes that I play Black Widow, but she’s too scared to watch an Avengers movie,” Johansson told People in November 2024. “She’s just like, ‘It’s violent.’ I’m like, ‘Oh God.’”
Rose was, however, rather intrigued by Johansson’s Fly Me to the Moon, the 2024 historical comedy in which she starred alongside Channing Tatum.
“I think she’s excited about the hair and makeup mostly,” Johansson revealed. “It’s just so fun … She’s girly.”
