Megan Walerius made waves on Love Is Blindseason 9 from the moment she first proclaimed that her nickname is “Sparkle Megan.”
This post contains spoilers for the finale of Love Is Blind season 9.
Megan, 35, entered the season 9 pods as an entrepreneur, telling many of her connections that she was starting a wellness company and had an affinity for travel and all things glittery.
Megan’s sparkly persona, however, caused concern for eventual fiancé Jordan Keltner, who described himself as a “f***ing normal guy.” Megan and Jordan, 30, nearly made it to the altar before she realized their incompatibilities.
Love Is Blind’s Jordan Details Megan’s Relationship With His 5-Year-Old Son
“I feel like we’re ships in the night, like two different people,” Megan told Jordan in the Wednesday, October 22, finale. “You are very simple, doing the same things every day [and] eating the same things, all of that. You’re a picky eater, I’m an adventurous eater.”
Megan further acknowledged that Jordan did encourage her to “do all the things that [she’s] been doing” alone, but she wants a spouse to join in her pursuits.
“I’ve been doing all those things by myself for the past four years, and I want to do those things with a partner,” she said, also questioning her potential role as a stepparent to Jordan’s 5-year-old son, Luca, from a previous relationship. “I’ve never dated somebody with a kid. All the men that I have dated up to this have had a fairly flexible schedule, and that’s how all my friends are.”
Love Is Blind’s Most Dramatic Moments Through the Years
As Megan called off her engagement pre-wedding day, she stressed that she wanted a travel partner and more, which sparked fan confusion about her career.
“Megan on Love is Blind is so rich she picked a fight with Jordan for being quiet and not spontaneous enough,” one social media user wrote via X. “She literally forgot people get tired after work and can’t play tennis in the middle of the day.”
Another added, “Damn I had high hopes for Megan and Jordan. Turns out [she] is much more materialistic than she led on.”
